QUÉBEC CITY: TRAVELLING EXHIBITIONS DEDICATED TO HUGO PRATT ARRIVE IN CANADA FOR THE COMICS FESTIVALS

The cartography of the travelling exhibitions dedicated to Hugo Pratt promoted by the Farnesina to represent Italian language and culture in the world continues to expand its boundaries and from April 2024 draws a new line of adventure in Canada.

We have already told you about the project ‘Hugo Pratt’s legacy, the work, the biography”, following step by step the exhibitions in the Italian Cultural Institutes and Consulates General, a metaphor for Corto and Pratt’s travels, crossing different countries, cultures, languages and traditions, a bridge between distant encounters.

After Pula (Croatia), Valona, (Albania) and Oslo (Norway), Hugo Pratt’s art arrives in Canada, and in a moment we see the silent and expectant landscapes of the boards of Jesuit Joe, The Man from the Great North. But this time there will be little that is silent, because the exhibitions planned in Quèbec City will be concomitant with the Festival de la Bande Dessinée Quèbec BD – making it an unmissable event for fans of drawn literature.
