The concrete blocks have been restored and repainted white; mounted on them are durable composite aluminium panels, creating a true open-air gallery<\/strong>. Walking along the pier, visitors will be able to relive an entire sequence of the story set in 1920, between Hong Kong, Manchuria, and Siberia \u2014 among trains loaded with Tsarist gold, spies, revolutionaries, and the ever-present Rasputin.<\/p>\n<\/div> The installation precedes two major events that will turn Senigallia into a hub for comics this October:<\/p>\n \u2022 From October 1st<\/strong> to November 30th, the evocative underground chambers of the Rocca Roveresca will host an exhibition dedicated to Hugo Pratt \u2014 From Pratt’s Legendary Bookshop to the Fantastic Adventures of Corto<\/strong><\/em> \u2014 presented alongside a showcase of finalist works by students from European comics schools.<\/p>\n \u2022 On October 25th<\/strong>, the city will welcome the first edition of the Hugo Pratt Comics Awards<\/strong>, featuring more than 40 participating schools from across Europe.<\/p>\n<\/div> The project \u2014 which brings together the port installation, the exhibition, and the award \u2014 is the brainchild of Giorgio Amadei, founder of the cultural association I Gabbiani di Hugo<\/em><\/strong>, and Patrizia Zanotti, managing director of Cong SA<\/strong>, the company that manages the rights to Hugo Pratt\u2019s work.<\/p>\n The Municipality of Senigallia<\/strong>, represented by Mayor Massimo Olivetti and City Council member Elisabetta D\u2019Amico, has warmly embraced and supported the initiative from the outset.<\/p>\n The entire tribute to Hugo Pratt is organized in collaboration with Rizzoli Lizard<\/strong>, Favini<\/strong>, and Piko Print<\/strong>, and benefits from the patronage of the Marche Region<\/strong> and the Port Authority.<\/p>\n<\/div> Corriere adriatico<\/strong>.
