Indeed, what could be more difficult for an illustrator than to make the line of the horizon come alive? Perhaps it is here, in certain images of \u201cThe Scorpions of the Desert,\u201d or of \u201cThe Man of Somalia,\u201d that the magic of Pratt\u2019s stroke works in the most surprising way.<\/h3>\n<\/div>
