US officer and airman. Born in Denver (Colorado) in 1918, he fights on the Somme front with the US contingent of the General Pershing. He later joins the US expedition to Eastern Siberia as major. At the end of the war, he remains in the US army and becomes superior officer.
He dies in the Japanese attack against the naval base of Pearl Harbor (Oahu, Hawaii islands) on 7th December 1941. Jack Tippitt, mocking descendant of the US colonists who had once rebelled against their European king, has a soft spot for Russian counter-revolutionary duchesses. Connecticut cigars are another of his great passions.
